There are simply too many Scriptures which point to the Trinity as revealed particularly clearly in the life of our Lord Jesus Christ. While I agree there are many difficulties with coming to grips with the theology of the Trinity, yet difficulty of a doctrine is not reason to reject a doctrine. Our great God is not nearly as "reasonable" as we would like Him to be. He is beyond us (though revealed to us and come near in His Son and by His Spirit). Thank you also for taking the time to read my humble attempts at blogging.Rick Wadholm Jr.https://www.blogger.com/profile/16071320669354835388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13998357.post-28484835212314322252010-01-19T06:54:07.115-06:002010-01-19T06:54:07.115-06:00Greetings Rick Wadholm Jr.

It is not an easy read, but extremely rewarding for any brave sould willing to work through it.

You like that..."magisterial"??? :-) This book was very unlike many other volumes I've read on the same topic and thus the moniker "magisterial". In it Torrance exults in the mystery and revelation of the Lord in ways not commonly found elsewhere by other theologians. He interacts fluently with the Greek Fathers in ways I've also not found elsewhere.Rick Wadholm Jr.https://www.blogger.com/profile/16071320669354835388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13998357.post-22881538806893032502010-01-14T16:41:48.597-06:002010-01-14T16:41:48.597-06:00You call it "magisterial."
